This poster was created to promote the Didot font. I put the police in its context of creation, it was created between 1784 and 1811, in the midst of the French Revolution. The main element represented by the pistol is typical of this period, and the tricolor cockade is the symbol of this revolution, but the poster is very modern and takes up the codes of contemporary advertising.
